Dan Moye joined the University of Northern Colorado as the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations June 2023.
Prior to arriving in Greeley, Moye worked for Richardson Sports as the Team Sales Manager for the United States, New Zealand and Australia, developing sales opportunities in teamwear and uniforms. He executed trade shows, strategic planning, marketing, training and customer service to increase the quality of sales.
In 2021, he held the position of Deputy Athletic Director at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. His responsibilities included brand management, budget oversight, sport supervision, and serving as the Director of Licensing.
Moye enjoyed his first taste of the Big Sky from 2016-20, as the Assistant Athletic Director and Execute Sr Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations at Southern Utah University. He oversaw brand management, budget management, camp management, equipment oversight, event management, fundraising, insurance management, and risk management. His additional duties included Director of Licensing , sport supervisor and team travel liaison.
He spent nearly two decades with adidas, working on college campuses from 2001-2015 for marketing, product placement, event management and strategic initiatives.
Moye worked for adidas at the University of Wisconsin from 2013-15, after spending the previous four years (2010-13) at fellow Big 10 member the University of Michigan.
Prior to his time in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Moye served as the adidas Senior Licensed Property Manager for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2005-10. He held the same title at UCLA from 2003-05.
Moye joined Arizona State in 2001 as the adidas Licensed Property Manager and held the position until leaving for California.
He began his career at the adidas headquarters from 1998-2001, as the NBA and College Coordinator. His daily responsibilities included marketing, product placement, event management and strategic initiatives.
