Hall joined the wrestling staff at Northern Colorado in July of 2021. He came to UNC from Virginia where he was a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the 2020-21 season.Â
In 2021-22, Hall played a key role in the historical success of UNC Wrestling. He helped the team earn four Big 12 Championship placers, three NCAA qualifiers, and assisted Andrew Alirez in becoming the first Big 12 Champion in program history. The team also earned their highest NWCA Top 30 Scholar All-American Honors ranking ever, coming in ninth place, and earning six individual NWCA Scholar All-Americans in Alan Clothier, Nick Knutson, Jace Koelzer, Dyson Kunz, Nathan Moore, and Jacob Seely.
At Virginia, Hall helped coach Louie Hayes to All-America honors and an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championships at 125 lbs, while eight wrestlers qualified for the tournament. It was tied for the second-most NCAA qualifiers in a season in program history for the Cavaliers. Five wrestlers also earned NWCA Scholar All-America honors for achievement in the classroom and on the mat.
A two-time All-American and a four-time NCAA qualifier at Iowa State University, Hall complied a career record of 103-42 as he earned All-America honors at 125 pounds in 2014 and at 133 pounds in 2016. He also compiled a 39-12 record in Big 12 dual competition and was a Big 12 runner-up in 2015 and 2016. Hall was a three-time place winner at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and a two-time place winner at the Midlands Championships in his collegiate career. He also claimed the 2015 Southern Scuffle championship and was a University National Champion in freestyle at 61kg.
Prior to Iowa State, Hall was a four-time Florida State Champion and compiled a 208-2 career record for South Dade High School. He was also an NHSCA National Champion and four-time USAW Cadet/Junior All-American.
