- Set program record for 500 free (4:51.59)
- On WAC Champion and school record setting 400 free relay team (3:20.45).
- On 800 free relay that set program record (7:24.74).
- Named WAC Swimmer of the Week once
- Three time first team All-WAC member.Â
- Won 19 events combined.
High School: Saya attended Cherry Creek High School where she earned 4 varsity letters in swim and dive. She was awarded MVP in high school
Saya was born on November 8 in Denver, Colo. She is the daughter of Frank and Deb. She has one older brother, one younger brother and two younger sisters.  Saya is currently majoring in Sports Exercise Science here at UNC.
