- Had her best performance of the year against rival CSU taking first in both the 1 and 3 meter and recording career-best scores.
- Qualified for the finals of the 1 and 3 meter at the WAC Championship finishing 11th and 15th, respectively.Â
- NCAA Zones qualifier.
High School: Llona attended Perry High School where there she earned two varsity letters in swim and dive. She also participated in cross country and track and field. In 2015 and 2017, she was an MVP. In 2016 she was a multi-sport athlete of the year,Â
Liona was born on June 26 in Chandler, Az. She is the daughter of Don and Heidi and she has two sisters and one brother. Liona is majoring in Criminal Justice here at UNC.
