2011: Played in 10 ofthe team's 11 games, starting in seven... Caught seven passes for68 yards... Is also the team's long snapper... Twice had a pair ofcatches, both at Idaho State and at Montana.
2010: Started in fourgames at tight end... Also served as the team’s long-snapperand made three tackles on special teams... Caught 12 receptions for265 yards and three touchdowns... Scored a touchdown in three ofthe final four games of the year... Against Northern Arizona, had acareer-best three catches for 97 yards.
2009 (Pima): Was anhonorable mention all-conference selection as a redshirt freshmanas well as a team captain... Joined the Bears for spring ball.
High School: Two-yearletterwinner at Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson, graduating inMay, 2009... Also lettered two years in baseball… Named toboth the All-Southern Arizona and All-Sonoran Region teams duringhis senior year in both baseball and football… Was the 2008state runner-up in football and 2009 state champion in baseball,where he played in the outfield and was a pitcher.
Personal: Is theyoungest of two sons of Tommy and Cindy Steele with an olderbrother, TJ... Born June 5 in Tucson... His brother, TJ, wasselected in the 2008 MLB draft by the Houston Astros after playingcollegiate baseball at Arizona... Majoring in communications.
