UNC Athletics is excited to announce the 2019-20 Bear Den Student Section Football T-Shirt Design Contest! The 2019-20 Official Football Student Section t-shirt will be designed for the students, by the students and the student with the winning design will win a $100 credit to the UNC Bookstore. T-shirts will be available for students who are attending UNC home events beginning this fall.
WHO CAN SUBMIT A DESIGN:
- All UNC Students including undergraduate and graduate students.
- Students must be enrolled in classes for the Fall 2019Â semester.
DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:
- All designs must be digitally created and submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf - no hand-drawn designs.
- The design must include the phrase "Bear Den"
- The design must positively reflect the mission and values of the University of Northern Colorado and UNC Athletics.
- The design must include the official marks of UNC Athletics and must be compliant with all branding guidelines. Logos can be found here: http://www.unco.edu/university-relations/brand-tools/
- The design must be football themed
- The design can be two colors and will be printed on a white shirt.

RULES:
- All entries become the exclusive property of Northern Colorado Athletics.
- Entrants recognize UNC Athletics right to edit or modify the design and contest guidelines at its discretion.
- By submitting a design for consideration, you confirm that to the best of your knowledge, the design you are submitting is your own original work and that no other persons or parties can claim ownership.
- Entries that fail to comply with the official contest guidelines will be disqualified.
HOW TO ENTER: All entries must be submitted via email to athletics@unco.edu. All submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on April 19, 2019.
JUDGING AND VOTING:
- UNC Students will vote on the winner beginning Monday, April 22nd and voting will conclude at 11:59 p.m. on April 26th. The winner will be notified Monday, April 29th and the winning design will be announced Wednesday, May 1st.
- Students are to select the winner based on the following criteria:
- How well the design reflects the values and mission of the University of Northern Colorado and Bear Pride.
- Eye-catching, powerful and unique design.
- Promotes the UNC Student Section
- UNC Athletics must approve the winning design to ensure it is compliant with campus branding guidelines and design requirements.
