UNC Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado head coach Nick Maas in his first season announced the 2026 cross country schedule on Thursday.
The Bears will compete in four regular season meets prior to the start of postseason competition.
UNC will begin its season at the Wyoming Invitational as they have each of the last three seasons, running this year on September 4.
The squad will recover and use the time for training before competing in the MSU Denver Roadrunner Invite on September 19.
A couple weeks later the Bears will travel to Logan, Utah to run in the USU Steve Reeder Memorial on October 9.
To wrap up the regular season UNC will continue west to compete in California at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on October 17.
The postseason schedule will begin with the Big Sky Conference Championships, hosted by Northern Arizona on October 30. The Bears will then turn to the NCAA Mountain Regionals hosted by New Mexico on November 13 in Albuquerque to qualify for the NCAA Championships. For those that qualify the season will conclude on November 21 at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, hosted by Indiana State University.
