Ciera Weber Joins The UNC Cross Country And Track & Field Staff

GREELEY, Colo. – Ciera Weber joined the Northern Colorado track & field coaching staff as an assistant coach, head coach Nick Maas announced Monday.
Weber arrives in Greeley after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State, a division II school. There she collaborated with the head coach to provide student-athletes with beneficial training and an encouraging work environment to produce success and satisfaction among individual and team performances.
 "I am excited and grateful to begin coaching at the University of Northern Colorado," Weber said. "I want to thank AD Darren Dunn and Head Coach Nick Maas for giving me this opportunity! I am eager to meet everyone and get started!"
She assisted with all the athletes but focused on the pole vaulters writing yearly training programs. In addition to assisting the head coach with writing training for jumps, multis, and hurdlers.
During her two seasons as a coach at Saginaw Valley State she coached three division II All-Americans and one National Champion.
Following the 2026 season Weber was named the USTFCCCA Midwest Regional Assistant Coach of the Year for men's track & field.
Prior to her coaching career she competed at Saginaw Valley State. During her collegiate career she earned Academic All-American honors in addition to being named All-Conference.
"I'm excited to welcome Ciera to our staff and university here at UNC and can't wait to work with her in building our program to the next level," Maas commented. "Ciera is a rising star in the track and field coaching world and will make an immediate impact from day one in Greeley with our Jumps crew!"
