Ruiz Leads Bears at NCAA Zone E Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Mireya Ruiz highlighted Northern Colorado's performance in the women's 1-meter preliminary round at the 2026 NCAA Zone E Championships on Saturday.
Ruiz led the Bears with a 48th-place finish, scoring 196.20 points in a competitive field featuring divers from across the region. Violet Noel also represented Northern Colorado, placing 50th overall with a score of 193.00.
The NCAA Zone E Championships continue through March 11 as divers compete for spots at the NCAA Championships.
