Eight Bears Named to WAC Academic Freshman/Transfer Honor Roll

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced its 2025 Academic All-WAC honorees for spring sports on Friday, including the Academic Honor Roll for freshmen and transfer student-athletes across all 2024–25 conference sports.
Northern Colorado was represented by eight standout first-year Bears.
UNC's honorees include:
Ariane Bernier
Linnea Haan
Birgitta Ingolfsdottir
Lora Konter
Agathi Manoli
Mireya Ruiz
Vitoria Simioni
Audrey Vannelli
These student-athletes were recognized for their academic achievements while adjusting to the rigors of Division I competition in their first year at Northern Colorado. A total of 1,051 student-athletes across all WAC institutions and 20 sports were honored.
To earn a spot on the Academic Freshman/Transfer list, student-athletes must have completed one full term at their institution, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and participated in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions.
