Cole Named CSC Academic All-American

GREELEY, Colo. – Syd Cole earned an Academic All-America Third Team selection, the College Sports Communicators announce.
"We are incredibly proud of Syd for being named to the Academic All-America Team," head coach Lyndsey Oates said. "This honor is a testament to her hard work and dedication both on the court and in the classroom. Syd embodies what it means to be a true student-athlete. We couldn't be happier for her to receive the well-deserved recognition."
Cole garnered the All-America selection after earning her second all-district honor this season. She earned a spot on the team with a 4.00 grade-point average in elementary education.
The Division I team boasted a 3.93 cumulative grade-point average, with 11 of the 22 student-athletes posting a perfect 4.00 GPA.

The 2024 Academic All-America® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
