Bears Collect More Hardware at WAC Championships

PHARR, Texas – Elizabeth Mayer, Kyra Rabess, Katelyn Bergin and Maria Erokhina added to Northern Colorado's podium finishes at the Pharr Natatorium on day three of the 2024 Western Athletic Conference Championships.
Mayer and Rabess swept the top two positions on the podium in the 200-yard freestyle.
Mayer won the race in a time of 1:48.89, while Rabess touched the wall two-tenths of a second behind Mayer, clocking in at 1:49.09.
Katelyn Bergin set a new school mark in the 100-yard butterfly, stopping the clock at 53.44, claiming a spot on the second step of the podium.
Maria Erokhina collected a bronze finish in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:01.96.
Finals will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and wacinternational.tv each competition day:
