Swimming and Dive Adds Nine Student Athletes to Roster

GREELEY, Colo – University of Northern Colorado swimming and diving signed nine student-athletes to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Lisa Ebeling announced Wednesday.
The class includes six freshmen - Sloane Antonetz, Megan Hurley, McCayden Karlin, Ellyson Lombardi, Kyra Rabess, Martina Trionfetti – and three transfers, Kyriana Chambo, Reese Hazan and Daniela Piccinini.
"I couldn't be more thrilled for our team in the 2023-2024 season," Ebeling said. "We have a wealth of depth that we have not seen in the past and our incoming class is bringing new levels of energy and enthusiasm. Combined with our returners we have a competitive group of women on a mission and I am excited to see what they are going to accomplish."

- Won the 2018 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) 400IM and placed third in the 200m back.
- Placed seventh at the 2018 winter national championships in the 400IM.
- Earned a spot on the world 100m in the 200m fly in 2019, after making the 2018 team in the 100 and 400 IM.
- Finished fifth at the 2017 Open Water Junior National Championships.
- Three-time finalist in the 400IM at the winter junior nationals.
- Claimed the 2019 high school state championship in the 200IM, after winning regional titles in the 100m back, 200IM, 400 free relay, and 400 IM relay.
- Palo Verde High School swimmer of the year in 2019.
- Holds the Palo Verde school record in the 100m back.
- Competed at US Nationals, US Open Water Nationals, US World Champ trials, summer and winter junior nationals, NCSA, futures, sectionals and the Western Athletic Conference Championships.
