GREELEY, Colo. – Jacob Stanton (football) and Louise Dahl (women's golf) have been named the MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week.
Stanton, a Thornton, Colorado native, had a career day at Montana. The senior tallied a career-high 14 tackles, one sack, one pass breakup, and one quarterback hurry.
Dahl posted a 5-under-par 67 in the final round of the Clash at Boulder Creek – hosted by Northern Arizona – on the Desert Hawk/Coyote Run Course (par 72/6,334 yards) Tuesday. Dahl carded six birdies Tuesday, after shooting a 76 Sunday and a 1-under 71 Monday. She finished in a three-way tie for 20th, with a 2-under 214. Her 67 in the final round was one shot off the individual 18-hole school record.
