Four Bears pick up individual CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, Team earns award for 21st straight semester

GREELEY, Colo. – The awards just keep coming
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced Northern Colorado as a Scholar All-America Team. The honor marks the 21st straight semester that head coach Lisa Ebeling's Bears have picked up the award.
In a semester that saw UNC stack up its most points ever at the WAC Championships, Ebeling's student-athletes showed what it means to be a Bear out of the pool, earning a 3.74 Team GPA to keep its historic academic streak alive.
Of the six Western Athletic Conference programs that received the award, UNC's outstanding GPA was by far a conference-best.
Individually, Katelyn Bergin, Payten Irwin, Madelyn Moore and Bryanna Ungs were all selected as 2nd Team Scholar All-American honorees. For Bergin, Irwin and Ungs, it represents the first such honor in their careers while Moore enjoys her second selection after being named Honorable Mention a season ago.
