Strong Spring Semester Extends Swimming and Diving's Academic Streak

UNC swimming and diving extended its streak to 17 straight semesters as a CSCAA Scholar All-America team
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Not one, not two, not three, but make it 17 straight semesters Northern Colorado swimming and diving has made the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team list. The Bears pushed forward their streak with an impressive 3.80 spring GPA, improving the program's cumulative GPA to 3.60.
CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart mentioned the efforts of head coach Lisa Ebeling noting that "No team was unaffected by this Spring's pandemic but Athletic Director Dunn and President Feinstein can and should be proud of their team and the work of Lisa."
The whole team had an individual term GPA of 3.0 or above for the spring of 2020 including 10 perfect 4.0s.
UNC placed 13 student-athletes on the Academic All-WAC honors list earlier this year with the number to expand with the conference's announcement of freshman and transfers who will join the group of honorees in July.
All eight WAC swimming and diving programs made it on the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team list.
The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-America selections next week.
