UNC swimming & diving placed 11 student-athletes on the WAC All-Academic team

DENVER – Coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history, Northern Colorado swimming & diving showed it's not just having success in the pool, but in the classroom as well. The Bears placed 11 student-athletes on the WAC Winter All-Academic team. The Bears had the third most of any women's swim & dive team in the WAC, behind Idaho and New Mexico State.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

The sport of swimming & diving had the most honorees with 91.
