A River Falls, Wis. native, Berg broke the UNC All-Time 1-meter record at the DU First Chance Meet on Friday with a score of 309.30. She surpassed the previous mark of 305.55 set in 2011 by Kelly Schmeckpepper-Cook.
Berg capped off her weekend on Saturday with another stellar performance, winning the 1-meter (308.70) and finishing second on the 3-meter (267.90) in the dual against GCU.
"Madison has done a great job of earning her recognition," said Diving Coach Jacob Butler, "She has been a trailblazer for the team. Now we must keep our focus for our championship meets."
