GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's cross country selected to finish sixth in the 2024 Preseason Coaches' Poll, league officials announced Thursday.
"We are excited about the season and this team's potential," UNC Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Wayne Angel said. "The ladies have bought into the culture we are trying to build.
The Bears look to improve from last season's run at the Big Sky Conference Championships. UNC posted the second-highest finish and fourth-best point total since moving to the Big Sky Conference from the 2006 campaign. The Bears return a veteran-laden team, returning all seven members from last year's squad that competed at the championships while adding some fresh faces eager to crack the starting lineup.
