GREELEY, Colo. – The last two regular season games for Northern Colorado (9-19, 6-10 Big Sky) come on the road, starting with a visit to Montana State (12-16, 7-9 Big Sky) on Thursday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Scouting The Bears (Game Notes)
- Northern Colorado split its final home games of the year, defeating Sacramento State, but falling on a last second three-ball to Portland State.
- Anthony Johnson scored his second 30-point game in the month of February, finishing with 30 points in the loss against PSU. Johnson scored a career-high and Division I single game program record 37 points at EWU, back on Feb. 13.
- Head Coach B.J. Hill's teams have played exceptionally well against MSU, holding an 8-4 record in the all-time series.
- In Hill's six seasons with Northern Colorado the team holds a 3-2 record in games play in Bozeman.
- The Bears hold the conference's second best free throw shooting percentage at 72.2%. Anthony Johnson has played a strong role in that percentage as he's at 85.8% from the charity stripe on the season and is 43-of-47 over the last 10 games.
- Northern Colorado can finish anywhere between the 7 through 10 seed in the regular season standings. If the season ended today, UNC would face Portland State in the Postseason Tournament in Reno.
Scouting The Bobcats (Game Notes)
- Montana State heads back home after a three-game road swing where they dropped all three contests at Montana, Weber State and Idaho State.
- The Bobcats remain just one game ahead of Northern Colorado in the Big Sky standings at 7-9.
- MSU has jumped up to the fourth highest scoring team in the league, averaging 75.9 ppg thanks to freshman sensation Tyler Hall. Hall is currently leading the team in scoring, averaging 19.0 ppg and 5.2 rebounds per game.
- Hall currently ranks fourth in the conference in scoring and second in 3FG%, averaging 44.0% from beyond the arc.
- The Bobcats enter Thursday's game averaging the second most three pointers made in the Big Sky, averaging 9.6 three point makes a game, just behind Eastern Washington's 10.4.
Bears In Bozeman
- Northern Colorado sits 7-13 all-time in games played at Montana State.
- The last time UNC played in Bozeman, the Bears escaped with a 62-54 win in the 2014-15 season. Cameron Michael led the team with 16 points in the win.
- The first meeting in the Treasure State between the two teams came in the 1923-24 season with the Bears splitting the trip, winning 19-13 in game one and falling in game two, 33-22.
- UNC is 5-6 overall in games played on March 3. The last time the team played on this date was in the 1999-2000 falling at North Dakota State, 81-67.
30 Points Is A Lot Of Points
- Junior guard, Anthony Johnson scored his second 30-point game in the month of February after pouring in 30 in the loss against Portland State last Saturday.
- Johnson tied his career-high of field goal makes with 10, ending the night 10-of-16 and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. The 5 three point makes also tied his career-best.
- Johnson is the first player in UNC Division I history to have two different 30 point games in the same month and ties the UNC D1 record for most 30 point games in a season, with two.
- Devon Beitzel and Tevin Svihovec are the only other two players in the program's Division I history to have two 30 point games in the same season.
- Johnson is currently the team's leading scorer and leading rebounder, averaging 15.5 ppg and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Odds and Ends
- UNC moves to 0-8 this season when its opponent shoots 50.0% or higher.
- The Bears are also just 3-17 when they trail at the half.
- Northern Colorado dished out a season-best 17 assists in the loss against Portland State. Both Anthony Johnnson and Dallas Angling tied for the team-high with 4 apiece.
