SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Charles Hillig Jr. led all Northern Colorado runners with a 13th place finish (25:01) in the school's first Big Sky Conference Championships, hosted Saturday by Sacramento State. The meet capped the season for the Northern Colorado cross country teams.
Also placing for the men's team were: Michael Trahan (43, 26:28), Jeff Holt (46, 26.38), Alex Grim (50, 26:54), Shawn Monk (63, 28:12), Ryan Woodman (64, 28:26) and Jorel Torres (65, 28:31). The men finished eighth with 215 points.
Denise Kintzley led the women's team with a time of 19:06.8, good for 31st. Following were: Katie Wiederholt (45, 19.34.9), Colleen Sanderlin (58, 20:23.4), Rachel Forrest (59, 20.32.1) and Allison McIntire (62, 21:01.0). The women finished ninth with 255 points.
