2010 Big Sky All-Academic: February 9, 2011

2011: Sat out as a redshirt.

2010: Had a breakout junior season, finishing as the top Bear in all six meets in which she competed... Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic Team... Had four top 20 finishes, including an 8th-place finish at the Tiger Open... Placed 15th at the Big Sky Championship after running a 16:27.74 for the five-kilometers, the highest-ever finish for Northern Colorado at the championship... Also placed 56th at the NCAA Mountain Regional, completing the 6K course in 22:11.5.

2009: Ran in six of the team's seven meets on the season... Was one of three Bears to finish in the top 10 at the Tiger Invitational in helping the team defend their title as she placed seventh... Also had top-20 finishes at the Wyoming Invitational and Rocky Mountain Shootout... Clocked a 22:19.5 to finish 53rd at the Big Sky Conference Championship.

2008: Ran in six of the team's seven competitions as a true freshman... Placed in the top 25 in three meets... At the Big Sky Championship, timed a 19:30 to finish 54th.

Prep: Lettered in both track and cross country... captain of the track & field team as a senior... was the 2008 Regional Champion... in 2007 set two school records, in the 1600m and the 800m...was a two-time honor roll selection.

Personal: Born on May 16, 1989 to Tim and Mary Horsch... Majoring in secondary education and plans to teach math.
