HIGH SCHOOL:
Hutcheson will come to Northern Colorado as the tallest setter since the Bears moved to Division I in 2006 ... As a senior, she earned a spot on the Iowa State All-Tournament Team ... Finished third in the voting for Iowa Prep Sports' 2011-12 Female Athlete of the Year -- just one vote behind second-place ... Her senior year Hutcheson led Kennedy High with 2.70 kills/set, .462 hitting and 7.41 assists/set ... Also thrived for her club team, the Iowa Rockets ... Was named to the USA Volleyball National All-Tournament Team in both 2009 and 2011 after her Rockets finished third in the national tournament ... Helped lead Cedar Rapids Kennedy to four-straight Iowa Class 4A State Tournament semifinals ... Was also a three-year starter as goalkeeper for the Kennedy soccer squad and set a school-record -- allowing just 0.53 goals per match as a senior while helping the Cougars to the 3A state title.
