HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a key contributor to a volleyball powerhouse program throughout
her high school career ... While playing just several miles
away from Northern Colorado, Garcia helped lead Valley High School
to top-four finished in the Colorado 3A State Tournament in each of
her four years as a full-time starter ... As a junior, she helped
lead the Vikings to a 29-1 overall record and a state title while
tallying a team-high 358 assists to go along with 57 aces, 171
kills, 269 digs and 13 blocks ... As a senior, she was named to the
Denver Post's Class 3A All-State Volleyball Team while helping
Valley to a 26-3 record and a trip to the semifinals of the state
tournament ... Finished her senior year with 199 kills, 240 digs,
282 assists, 35 aces and 22 total blocks.
