GREELEY, Colo. -- Northern Colorado's volleyball program is in the midst of finishing up its offseason checklist before ratcheting things up and tackling its 2009 preseason and regular-season schedule head on. 

The Bears finished third in the Big Sky Conference last season and this year, with the loss of just one player to overcome and the addition of three talented freshmen, hope to continue their ascent to the top of the league standings.
