Moldenhauer honored by MPSF

Northern Colorado junior diver Sara Moldenhauer earned her first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) athlete of the week honor on Wednesday.

In a dual against Northern Arizona, Moldenhauer scored 266.10 on the one-meter board to hit the NCAA Zone "E" qualifying mark. It is the second-highest scoring meet of her career. The native of Colorado Springs, Colo., also scored 264.00 on the three-meter board.

This is the Bears' second award of the season as sophomore Courtney Van Oost won swimmer of the week honors after the team's opening meet of the season.

Northern Colorado returns to the pool on Dec. 17-19 at the UNLV Winter Invitational in Las Vegas.
