AquaBears have six named All-Academic

WOODLAND, Calif. -- Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Executive Director Al Beaird recently announced the MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes for the 2010-11 women's swimming & diving season, and Northern Colorado had six honored on the team.
To be eligible, the student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 or better cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically with one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received and must have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competition for the 2010-11 season.
Three-time Academic All-Region selection Tori Gutt highlighted the team for the Bears. She was joined by fellow senior Alisha Dauman, junior Hannah Halstrom and sophomores Tatum Boehnke, Hannah Hurd and Sara Moldenhauer.
The Bears concluded their first season in the MPSF in 2010-11, placing sixth at the inaugural championship.
