Women's soccer prepares for final spring matches

GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado women's soccer program is set to wrap up its spring exhibition season with a trio of matches against Division I rivals at home on Saturday afternoon.

In the first of three 50-minute games, the Bears will take on Wyoming for the second time this spring 10 am. After facing off against the Cowgirls, Northern Colorado will take on Air Force and Colorado College at 2 and 3 pm, respectively.

Earlier this spring, the Bears traveled up to Denver to Regis University to participate in another trio of matches. They kicked things off with a 0-0 draw against host Regis. The Bears' only win of the three matches came in a 1-0 victory over Air Force. Danielle Birdsall scored the winner off an assist by Ariel Cook.

In the final match of the day, the Bears battled Fort Lewis to a 1-1 draw, as Brittany Dunn scored Northern Colorado's lone goal.

Admission is free at Jackson Field for any of the matches this Saturday, April 16.
