Coming out of half time, Nebraska increased its lead to 2-0 when Molly Thomas rebounded a shot and snuck it in the left corner.

The Bears came close to shortening the lead when sophomore Kimmie Feidler took a shot that hit the left post and was quickly grabbed by the Husker goalkeeper.
