Megan Bellendir Named Academic All-District
GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado soccer senior Megan Bellendir was today named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII First Team.
Bellendir, a graduate student from Broomfield, Colo., has her bachelor's degree in audiology and speech language and is currently pursuing a master's degree in language pathology. She earned her undergraduate degree with a 3.79 grade point average and currently has a 4.00 in master's studies.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
On the field this season, Bellendir started in 14 games as a defender before being injured. She has five shots on goal as the team posts a 7-12 overall record.
The soccer team concludes its season October 31 at Northern Arizona.
