The University of Northern Colorado's Wrestling Team is raising money in coordination with Zac's Legacy Foundation for 21 month old Dax Remple. At 15 months old, Dax was diagnosed with leukemia. Currently, Dax and his family live in Greeley and drive to Denver twice a week for treatment at Children's Hospital. The UNC wrestling team is committed to help Dax and his family in their time of need.

UNC's Wrestling Team will be taking donations to shave their heads at their January 16th 7:00 p.m.wrestling match against Chadron State. Each wrestler will shave their head to raise money for Dax, and the wrestler who raises the most money will get to shave head coach Jack Maughan's head. If you have any questions please contact Jack Maughan at 351-1815.

Zac's Legacy Foundation, Inc. is a unique family oriented childhood cancer fund that helps alleviate some of the financial burden incurred while being treated for cancer. Cancer treatments such as operations, chemotherapy, radiation, and bone marrow transplants put a significant financial stress on Colorado families' personal needs. The Foundation's mission is to assist these families struggling with childhood cancer.
