UNC Ranked 5th In Latest NCC Wrestling Rankings

The UNC wrestling squad is ranked fifth in the latest North Central Conference wrestling rankings after beginning the season with a 20-13 loss to South Dakota State.

Nebraska-Omaha is ranked No. 1 in the NCC, followed by North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Minnesota State, UNC, Augustana and St. Cloud State.

The NCC also released its individual rankings and the Bears were led by senior Brody Olson, who is ranked No. 2 at 157 pounds. Junior Ronnie Stafford is ranked No. 3 at 141 pounds. Junior Loren Hutchins is ranked No. 3 at 149 pounds. Junior Jason McMillan is ranked No. 3 at 197 pounds. Freshman Kyle Swenson is ranked No. 4 at 133 pounds.
