Deja vu for UNC grapplers; McMillan wins only match at Wyoming dual
The UNC wrestling team continues to struggle. They lost their second dual in a row winning just one match on the night. Division I Wyoming took the Bears down 37-4 in similar fashion to the North Dakota State loss on Saturday. They are now 3-9 overall and 1-4 in the North Central Conference.
Sophomore Jason McMillan, ranked 7th in the nation in the 197 pound division in Division II polls, won the Bears' only match again with a 10-1 major decision over the Cowboys' Malcolm Havens.
With the the exception of Brody Olson (157 lbs.) and Brian Hufford (174 lbs.), who both lost their matches 4-2, the scores were fairly lopsided. At 141 pounds, Ronnie Stafford was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct down 11-7 with just three seconds left in their match.
