2010-11: Wrestled at both 174 and 184 pounds as a freshman... Posted an overall record of 10-22 with six of his nine wins coming for team bonus points... Had five falls, including his quickest pin in 46 seconds, and one technical fall... Did not win a dual match... Finished fifth at both the Cowboy Open and the Old Chicago Open, competing at 184 pounds in each.

2009-10: Spent a year at the University of Colorado-Boulder... Redshirted as a football player.
