Carleigh Silvers picked Big Sky GOTW for third time in career

OGDEN, Utah -- Northern Colorado junior Carleigh Silvers has been selected as the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week after a strong performance at the Arkansas-Little Rock Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark.
Silvers, from Martinsville, Ind., tied for 17th overall after shooting rounds of 76, 73, 75 for an 8-over par 224. Silvers' second-round 73 was her lowest round this spring and the second-lowest of her 2011-12 season.
Northern Colorado finished in 18th place as a team, with rounds of 313, 308 and 317. UTEP won the tournament with an 897.
This is Silvers' third career Big Sky Golfer of the Week honor.
