Bears Quick Notes
• Northern Colorado begins the second half of Big Sky Conference play at Idaho State and Weber State, two teams the Bears defeated at home earlier this year.
• Senior forward Lauren Oosdyke was named the Big Sky Player of the Week by both the Big Sky and College Sports Madness after helping lead the Bears to wins over Northern Arizona and Sacramento State.
• Junior guard D'shara Strange became the 18th 1,000 point scorer in Northern Colorado history and now ranks 16th with 1,014 points.
• The win over Sacramento State on Saturday was the team's 300th victory in Greeley. The Bears sport an all-time home record of 300-180 in their 39th year.
• Northern Colorado is ranked 32nd in the nation in rebound margin (+7.0) and 54th in scoring defense (55.8) amongst the 343 NCAA Division I teams.
• The Bears have won 11 straight at home, tied for the second-longest winning streak in school history. The longest stretch is 16 consecutive in 1997-98.
• Junior guard D'shara Strange became one of only two players to record 200 steals in her career on Thursday. She is now 11 shy from breaking the all-time record of 213 by Courtney Stoermer (2007-11).
• Northern Colorado is currently fourth in the Big Sky Conference standings with a 6-3 record. The Bears are a game-and-a-half behind co-leaders Montana State and Montana at 8-2, while Eastern Washington sits in third at 7-3.
