Swimming Finishes Home Season With Dual Against San Diego State
Swimming in several non-traditional events, the Northern Colorado swimming team lost its last home dual of the 2009-10 season to San Diego State 125-107 on Saturday afternoon in a 13-event meet.

Divers Help Lead Team To A 2-1 Record At Maverick Meet
Both senior Sarah Cook and sister, sophomore Kelly Schmeckpeper-Cook posted career best scores in the one- and three-meter diving to help lead the Northern Colorado swimming & diving team at the Maverick Meet, hosted by Mesa State on Saturday. The Bears went 2-1 in dual action, defeating both Adams State (254-13) and Mesa State (200-98) but falling to New Mexico (226-74).

Swimming Splits Dual In Jupiter
During the winter training trip, the Northern Colorado swimming and diving team started the New Year with a double dual against Loras College and East Carolina. The Bears defeated Loras, 74-12 but lost 68-18 to East Carolina.

Swimming & Diving Wins Four Events On Senior Day
In the last meet of the 2009 calendar year, the Northern Colorado swimming & diving team hosted the Wyoming Cowgirls in a dual. The Cowgirls came out victorious, 170-124. The Bears had four victories and 14 second-place finishes in the 16 events on Saturday afternoon.
