Prior to UNC: Participated in softball and track at the University of Hawaii at Manoa before transferring to UNC for the 2006-2007 season.

High School: 2005 graduate of Thompson Valley H.S. in Loveland... named to the All-Conference softball tea twice... elected team captain during her senior year when the softball team finished as Northern Conference champions... earned Honor Roll honors.
