Ryba splits All-Independent Co-Freshman of the Year honors
True freshman from Littleton helped the Bears this season a record 18 Division I victories. She finished tops on the team in batting average, runs scored, hits, RBIs, doubles, triples and total bases. She also had 15 multi-hit games this season, including five contests where she finished with three or more hits.

Bears Earn Much-Awaited Inclusion In Pacific Coast Softball Conference
The Pacific Coast Softball Conference announced today that is will extend invitations for conference membership to six new schools, including Northern Colorado. California State Bakersfield, Idaho State, Seattle, Utah Valley and Weber State have also been extended invitations. All six schools have accepted their bids and all will begin competing in the PCSC in 2010, joining charter members Loyola Marymount, Portland State, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Diego and Santa Clara.
