The only player to shoot under par the entire tournament, Northern Colorado freshman Ali Nelson saved her best round for last to take the individual titlist honors at the 2009 Big Sky Conference Championship, helping lead the Bears to a sixth-place finish (949, 324-317-308) at the Ocotillo Golf Resort.

The Northern Colorado women’s golf team was in Chandler, Ariz. this week playing in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The Bears shot progressively better as the tournament moved on to find themselves in 13th in the end tallying an overall score of 972 (323, 321, 328).

The Northern Colorado women’s golf team is in 11th place after two rounds of play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Bears tallied a first round score of 335 and improved greatly in the second round posting a score of 320 giving the Bears an overall score of 655 heading into round three.
