2007-08 Schedule

 

 

Greeley, COLO. - University of Northern Colorado women's basketball head coach Jaime White today announced the schedule for the 2007-08 season.

 

The Bears open the season with an exhibition against Colorado School of Mines on Nov. 2 at 7:05 p.m. in Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion and will face San Francisco in the season opener on Nov. 11 at 4:05 p.m., also in Butler-Hancock.

 

The schedule features all four other Division I schools on the Front Range in Colorado State (Butler-Hancock, Nov. 20), Colorado (Boulder, Nov. 28), Air Force (Butler-Hancock, Dec. 5) and Wyoming (Laramie, Dec. 17).

 

"This is a great schedule for us," said White. "With our young team, this will be a very competitive schedule throughout the entire year. To be able to face all the other Division I schools in the region is an opportunity we could not pass up. I'm very excited to get the season going and see what we can do."

 

In addition to the local schools, NC will face Oral Roberts, New Mexico State, Southeast Missouri State, San Jose State and Saint Mary's on the road and will also host Pacific, Columbia and UMKC as well as the Big Sky Conference slate.
