final 1:16 of the game to help seal the victory... Was named
Division I Independent Newcomer of the Week after her 15 points
against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Feb. 4, a game in which she
made her first career three-pointer... Shot .826 from the free
throw line during the year (38-of-46)... Notched five or more
rebounds in seven games, including a then-career-high nine at
Denver on Feb. 16, 2006.
High School: Was
a three-year letterwinner at Centennial High School for coach Karen
Weitz... Was a two-time all-state selection as a junior and
senior... Led Centennial to its fourth straight state championship
game appearance after a 23 point, 14 rebound performance in the
semifinals... Played on three state championship teams... Averaged
13.5 points and 8.9 rebounds as a senior... Shot 60 percent from
the field, including 43 percent from beyond the arc in her senior
