GREELEY, Colo. - The University of Northern Colorado softball program will hold skills clinics on Jan. 22 and Feb. 3 at the Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion on the University of Northern Colorado campus. The camp is open to players ages 10-18.

About The Camp
The Northern Colorado Softball Clinics offer individual instruction for every participant. Skills and drills will match the developmental needs of the camper with instruction that focuses on the developmental needs of the camper with instruction that focuses on the development of skills fundamental to the game. It is our goal to have each athlete complete the camp with a better understanding of the game and improved skills and knowledge to improve their game.

Age Groups
The skills clinics are for players ages 10-18.

Application Deadline, Cost, Deposits
Clinic participants can sign up by e-mailing Linda Witt at Linda.Witt@unco.edu or by mailing the registration form to: Northern Colorado Softball Clinic, 223-H Butler Hancock Athletic Center, Greeley, CO 80639. Please send a $30.00 non-refundable deposit to the address above. If registering by mail, please include full payment. The cost for the Jan. 22 camp is $75. For a second member of the family, the cost is $65. For a third (or more) member of the family, the cost is $55. The cost for the Feb. 3 camp is $50 and $40 for the second (or more) member of the family. Make checks payable to: Northern Colorado Softball Clinic. After Jan. 15, please call the Northern Colorado Softball Clinic at (970) 351-2055 to check clinic availability.

Clinic Times
Jan. 22: 9 a.m.-noon, 1-3:30 p.m.
Feb. 3: 5-8 p.m.

Equipment
All participants must bring their own equipment, including: glove, athletic shoes (no cleats of any kind), appropriate clothing, and a bat. Tape your name to your own bat. If you are attending the camp as a catcher, bring your own gear. If you are attending the camp as a pitcher, you are not required to bring your own catcher. The Northern Colorado team will catch for pitchers.

Medical Information
Northern Colorado athletic training staff will be on hand at the clinics.

Insurance information should be filled out on the registration form.
