Softball Tournament Finale Cancelled in Texas

SAN MARCOS, Texas - The University of Northern Colorado softball squad's final game of the 2005 CenturyTel Classic against the Wichita State University Shockers was cancelled on Sunday morning because of rain.

The Bears went 0-4 in the tournament hosted by Texas State University. UNC came up on the short end of games against Texas State (6-0), Texas-Arlington (6-0), Texas Tech (3-0) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-1).

Northern Colorado will be in action again on Feb. 24 when they travel back to the Lone Star state to take on UTEP.
