Softball completes coaching staff with Forsythe, Henneke hires
Northern Colorado softball coach Mark Montgomery finished up one of his first orders of business Wednesday with the official addition of Mike Forsythe and Aryn Henneke as members of his first Bears coaching staff. The two will join Jeannie Douglas, whom Montgomery hired in mid-July.

Softball announces walk-on tryout
Northern Colorado softball coach Mark Montgomery has announced plans to host a walk-on tryout at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Butler-Hancock Softball Field. The tryout is open to any Northern Colorado student or full-time incoming freshman.

Northern Colorado turns to Montgomery to continue softball's momentum
Mark Montgomery, who has spent the previous eight seasons as head coach of the Centenary Ladies in Shreveport, La., has been named the program’s third head coach since the Bears’ softball reinstatement in 1999. Northern Colorado Director of Athletics Jay Hinrichs announced Montgomery’s hiring Friday morning.
