PORTLAND – The Pacific Coast Softball Conference announced Tuesday a record 138 student-athletes from its 12 member schools had earned a spot on the 2012 PCSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Northern Colorado, playing in its last year in the PCSC, had 14 student-athletes honored, tied for the second most.

Ten schools had at least 10 student-athletes named to the Honor Roll, led by Portland State with 15. The Bears and San Diego placed 14 each on the roll, while Sacramento State and Weber State each had 13.

Idaho State (12), Santa Clara (11), Utah Valley (11), CSU Bakersfield (10) and Loyola Marymount (10) also had at least 10 players earn Honor Roll distinction.

To make the PCSC's annual honor roll, student-athletes needed a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average for the 2011-12 year.
