Vandals Sweep Past Bears Men's Tennis

CHENEY, Wash. -- Northern Colorado's men's tennis team fell to 1-5 this season with a 7-0 defeat to Idaho on Sunday, March 9.
The Vandals won all three doubles matches and followed with a sweep of the singles matches.
The Bears' team of Paul Tschetter and Vinnie Fallico fell at No. 1 doubles 8-1 to Andrey Potapkin and Stanislav Glukhov. Austin Nunn and Ryan Dunn had the closest doubles match, losing 8-5 at No. 2 doubles to Robert Chakley and Andrew Dobbs.
Fallico started singles play with a close 7-5, 6-3 No. 1 singles loss to Potapkin.
The Bears will next play Saturday, March 15, at the Air Force Academy.
