2005-06: Had a breakthrough year during his sophomore season ... played in four varsity and two "B" team tournaments; stroke average for those six events (72.6) was the best of any individual on the team ... in his four varsity events, had a stroke average of 73.1, which was second behind Tim Knight ... placed ninth at the U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford, with rounds of 73 and 71 to finish at 144 (+4) ... tied for 12th at the Division I Independent Championships with a score of 223 (+7), as he helped the Bears to the team title at the event ... was 22nd at the Ron Moore Invitational, including a season-low round of 69 to finish at 214 (-2) ... in events with the "B" team, won the Air Force J.V. Invitational, with rounds of 68, 71 and 72 to finish at 211 (-5) ... was eighth at the Northwest Region Head-to-Head with a score of 220 (+4) ... named to Division I Independent All-Academic team.
2004-05: Played in five tournaments during the year, playing 14 total rounds and garnering a pair of top-20 finishes ... placed 11th at the Colorado Mines/Regis Invitational after rounds of 78 and 75 ... was 61st (+8) at the Pioneer Classic, including a season-low round of 71 during the second round ... placed 18th (+15) at the Northern Colorado Invitational.
Prep: Earned three letters at Ponderosa High for coach John Moos ... two-time all-state selection for the Mustangs ... two-time team captain and three-time all-league selection ... was runner-up at state meet as a junior and won regional championship his senior season ... four-year honor roll member.
