Men's Golf Ties For 13th

COMPLETE RESULTS: Rice Intercollegiate 

HOUSTON, Texas - The Northern Colorado men's golf team played the final round of the Rice Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Houston, finishing in a tie for 13th after shooting an overall score of 920 (305,306,309).

The third round was marked by improvement from sophomore Alberto Dell' Anna who shot a 73 in the final round of play and finished the tournament tied for 61st with an overall score of 233 (81,79,73). 

Finishing with the best score on the team was sophomore Steve Bidne who tied for 30th with a tally of 225 (71,74,80) while freshman Kory Harrell, who also shot 80 in the third round, finished tied for 75th with a final of 244 (86,78,80).  Ryan Boshoven ended the tournament tied for 36th with a final score of 227 (76,75,76), while senior Rich Lash finished in 73rd carding an overall score of 241 (77,80,84).

The Bears will have almost a month to wait until their next tournament when they head to Napa Valley, Calif., where they will play in the Drake Spring Invitational March 15-17.
