"We are really excited to be apart of the CIT field," Head Coach B.J. Hill said. "We can't thank our community and university enough for allowing us to host a game in a post season tournament. Our guys worked extremely hard this season and are excited to be a part of the CIT field."

The CIT is in its sixth season after being started in January of 2009. The tournament features 32 teams in a single elimination format, consisting of six rounds that are all played at on-campus sites. The host site is determined by seeding.

"The CIT has evolved into a great part of the college basketball landscape. We are thrilled to be returning to CBS Sports Network to showcase the exciting action of the CIT on a national stage," said Joe Dwyer, Co-Founder of CollegeInsider.com.

The semifinals will be played on Tuesday, April 1 with the championship game to be played on Thursday, April 3. The team with the higher seed will host all games. The semifinals and championship will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

The Bears played in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament once during the 2009-10 season. Northern Colorado beat Portland in the opening round, 81-73, followed by a loss to Pacific, 63-59.

CBS Sports Network is available through local cable and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and Dish Network Channel 158. For more information, including a full programming schedule and how to get CBS Sports Network, go to www.cbssportsnetwork.com.
